Resources for Fort Collins Faculty and Staff

The Division of IT manages a broad scope of technology services for the Colorado State University System with the support of distributed IT for local impact. Our team is dedicated to ensuring you have access to the tools and resources you need to successfully teach and work at CSU. Explore the resources below specifically tailored to the needs of faculty and staff.

Getting Started

Welcome to the CSU community, Ram! We’re committed to helping you get set up quickly so you can focus on what matters most: your work. Follow the steps below to connect with the resources you need to succeed.

Ready in 5: Your Onboarding Essentials

Your NetID credentials will grant you access to CSU’s online services and resources. Activate your NetID to get started.

We know you value your privacy and security, and so do we. That’s why Duo two-factor authentication is required for all faculty and staff. After setting up your NetID password, you can enable this extra layer of protection right on the NetID website.

Once you’ve got your NetID, your password, and Duo set up, you can log in to your CSU email account.

Use Teams for virtual meetings, chat, calls, file sharing, and more. Discover how Teams can help you stay informed, organized, and connected — all in one place.

Use the csu-net wireless network for a fast and secure connection.

Departing Faculty & Staff

Once a Ram, always a Ram! As we congratulate our retirees and emerti or say goodbye to our departing colleagues, here are some helpful tips and information you as you prepare to leave CSU:

You will receive an email notification when your affiliation with Colorado State University ends. Faculty & Staff have 30 days from that point to continue accessing central services such as your email account, the campus wireless network, Canvas, etc. For more information, see How to prepare for expiration of your NetID.

Retirees and Emeriti

Access to your university email account will continue through retirement. No action is required on your part to keep it.

Email and other Microsoft 365 Office applications can be accessed through the Office365 portal. Access to browser-based versions of M365 Office applications are available to retirees and emeriti.
