Gary Sensemen, Assistant Vice President for Experience and Collaboration
Gary Senseman joined the Division of IT in July 2023 as the Assistant Vice President for Experience and Collaboration, where he has responsibility for the following units/functions: Software Licensing, RamTech Computer Technology Store, IT Service Management Service Desk, Client Services, Endpoint Management, Microsoft System Operations, and Academic Technology.
Gary brings with him a wealth of experience having served in various leadership roles in both IT and research at Colorado State University. His background includes several areas directly connected with our missions of teaching and learning, research, and outreach. From 1994 – 2018 Gary was involved in CEMML, one of our biggest research areas as a Project Manager, Principal Investigator, and Associate Director. He started as the IT Director in the Warner College of Natural Resources in 2016, playing a dual role with CEMML until he transitioned full time to the Director of Technology Services in 2018.
In addition to his work in Natural Resources, Gary is an active campus leader where he has served as the chair of CITAC, a member of both the IAC-Leadership Advisory Group and the Faculty Council Committee on IT, and participated in various CSU IT Strategic Planning initiatives.

Units
Academic Technology
The Academic Technology team supports CSU’s learning environment through a variety of services tailored to help strategize, design, develop and integrate technologies to improve learning outcomes. Services provided include classroom audio/video maintenance and support and operating learning management systems.

Enterprise Collaborative Services
The Enterprise Collaborative Services teams manage productivity, collaboration, and communication applications and services used campuswide. Services include software licensing, endpoint management system service, and Microsoft system operations.

Computer Support Services
The Computer Support Services team is the frontline IT support and provides technical help, troubleshooting, device set up and assistance, training at CSU Fort Collins, CSU Pueblo, and Spur campuses.

IT Service Management
The Division of IT operates under an IT Service Management (ITSM) model and includes a Service Desk providing a single point of entry for support of provided IT services.

RamTech Computer Technology Store
Operated out of the Lory Student Center, RamTech is a retail computer technology store at which CSU departments and all currently enrolled CSU students and employees may purchase computers and peripherals. RamTech is an Apple Authorized Campus Store offering the latest Apple products with education pricing. RamTech operates a computer repair service and is an Apple Authorized Service Provider.
