HR Business Office

The HR Business Office is responsible for the development and implementation of strategic HR initiatives to align workforce practices and activities to CSU’s mission and Division of IT priorities. Our people are our biggest asset and our passion. With that in mind, the HR business team partners with IT leaders to solve people-related challenges through an organized set of people-centric solutions. Through the lens of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, our efforts support a myriad of areas including talent management, compensation strategies, career advancement and professional development, training and onboarding new staff, student employment and internship programs, and internal communications related to organizational changes.

Kris Seidel, Senior Human Resources Manager
Kris Seidel joined Colorado State University in September 2019 as the Senior Human Resources Manager where she is responsible for the HR Business Office within the Division of IT.

Kris’s career in Higher Education has spanned nearly 15 years specifically focused on Human Resources Management, including at the University of Northern Colorado Foundation. She has broad experience in leadership, coaching, consulting services and a profound understanding of non-profit organizations and governance. Kris holds a Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management from North Park University and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Management focusing on Project Management.
