Phishing Attempts Target CSU accounts through Duo

Beware of text messages claiming your Microsoft account is being terminated.

  • Do NOT approve Duo pushes or act on suspicious phone calls when you are not trying to log in.
  • These are attempts to bypass Duo authentication and access your account.

The image below is an example of a phishing attempt, it is not a legitimate message from the Division of IT, and should not be interacted with.

Remember: The Division of IT will never request your information via text message. All official communications come through authorized channels.
