The Division of IT (DoIT) manages a wide portfolio of strategic, operational, and exploratory projects to support both system and individual campuses.
The IT Project Dashboard provides visibility into active projects around software and systems and the Telecom Construction & Renovation Dashboard highlights campus telecom infrastructure projects, such as data cabling, renovations, and building wiring, managed by DoIT.

Artificial Intelligence Strategy for IT
Members of the Division of IT are creating a coordinated framework for IT’s approach to AI tools, services, and guidance. A central AI website, complemented by campus-specific resources, will provide access to approved technologies, standards, best practices, and support resources. Informed by strategic priorities and developed in partnership with stakeholders across the university, the project is focused on helping the CSU community adopt AI responsibly while ensuring the tools and services supported by IT are secure, effective, and aligned with institutional needs.
IT Alignment
Beginning in September 2026, CSU launched the next phase of its IT alignment efforts. Foundational activities—including data gathering, stakeholder engagement, and culture‑building—will lay the groundwork for this effort. During the discovery phase, we will also engage third‑party consulting partners to provide additional expertise and support. Consistent with our commitment to transparency and shared ownership, we will communicate regularly about progress, process, and opportunities for involvement as this work moves forward.
