Cybersecurity Training

Welcome! The Colorado State University System Division of IT provides cybersecurity training and awareness resources for students, faculty, and staff across the System. This page provides quick access to cybersecurity training for students, faculty, staff, and student employees. We also conduct regular phishing simulations to support real-time learning and reinforce safe email behavior. Best practices in IT cybersecurity show that educating individuals is the first line of defense in recognizing attempts and preventing attacks.

Annual Cybersecurity Training

All Colorado State University employees across the CSU System are required to complete cybersecurity training on an annual basis. Training will be accessed using your NetID login.

Important Information About Accessing the training platform

The annual cybersecurity training platform should be accessed from a desktop or laptop computer using browsers such as Google Chrome, Firefox, or Microsoft Edge. Mobile devices, including cell phones and tablets, are not supported.

Optional Training

Learn more about cybersecurity through the Cyber101 training modules. This optional, self-paced program is designed for students, emeritus faculty, and retirees who are not required to complete annual cybersecurity training. Participants can learn practical ways to protect their devices, accounts, and personal data.
