Committees

The following committees are formal groups charged with addressing specific objectives, making decisions, and driving initiatives forward. These structured bodies bring together staff members from various units to collaborate on targeted projects, policies, or strategic planning.

Diversity, Equity, Inclusion Committee

The Diversity Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Committee works to expand on the University’s values of Inclusion, Integrity, Respect, Service and Social Justice through DEI practices. We aspire to nurture equity and inclusion, act with openness and integrity, foster respect for all people, contribute to local and global well-being, and promote social justice.

University Technology Fee Advisory Board

The University Technology Fee Advisory Board (UTFAB) envisions a future where Colorado State University (CSU) thrives in diversity, inclusivity, equity, and accessibility through the strategic allocation of resources to technology-focused projects and services. As a committee led by students, for students, we are committed to balancing our impact while addressing the evolving needs of the CSU community. CSU IT Community Group Steering Committee

The steering committee for the CSU IT Community Group ensures that topics relevant to IT professionals across the CSU System are shared, input and feedback on agenda topics are solicited, and meetings are facilitated on a regular schedule. The steering committee is made up of individuals from the Division of IT, College IT, and Operational IT.

Classroom Review Board

The Classroom Review Board (CRB) is an administrative committee, appointed by the Provost/Academic Vice President. Its primary role is to create and administer policies concerning the general management of all general assignment (GA) classrooms on campus.

Administrative Data Governance Committee

The Administrative Data Governance Committee membership includes representatives from each of the three campuses and various functional units. Collectively, they work to ensure that data governance across the system is consistent and that data is managed effectively, securely, ethically, and in accordance with all regulatory requirements and system priorities.

University Charges for Technology Committee

The University Charges for Technology Committee (UCFT) is responsible for maintaining policies and assembling and publishing reports around Charges for Technology activities.

Communities of Practice

Communities of Practice (CoPs) are informal, self-organizing groups who share a common interest or passion for a particular technology, methodology, or area of expertise. These dynamic networks foster knowledge sharing, peer learning, and innovation across our campuses.

CSU IT Community Group

The CSU IT Community consists of IT professionals at CSU sharing and seeking advice on best practices in IT and cybersecurity in higher education. It serves as one of the primary communication channels for the Division of IT to disseminate information to the distributed IT community.
